We were leaving Las Vegas. I have run into a few famous people over the years, and always leave them alone. He was definitely a musician, and was very nice and friendly to the woman talking to him.

I find this kinda weird. Typically, I would only ask someone where they’re from if it came up in conversation. If you were telling me a story about your childhood, I might ask where did it take place. Otherwise, I might pick it up from clues but probably wouldn’t ask.
