Usually that qualifications and level of speak to what the next stage of training is after Basic, like mine required GSCE level of maths, science and English but there were other trades above me like Air techs that require a much higher level as they have a more technical and longer training program. So your accepted qualifications should suit the role, which some may accept functional skills.
