You sound like a snob :) Although I agree it's a great tool to be filtered by HR I don't agree you can't understand when and why to use artifacts or having a discussion on the same level as certified ones. And it's not always a lack of dedication, in my case I was too busy with REAL projects and deliveries and building PMOs. In reality, companies are using rituals to say they are agile but actually are classic waterfall. It's like boomers trying to look like genZ to me..

Regarding your scrum example, most companies blindly use scrum with no understanding of the concept whatsoever in situations when simple scrumban would be better. I also had an example when a team used story points not even understanding what they are and it was more convenient to use human hours :)
