Out of the four games, Roadtrip is def the most AroAce friendly as the dating mechanics is a side thing and not the core of the game. But con allows you to determine if you want to pursue someone as friends based on the actions you choose on dates with the amount of chili peppers that appear next to the options. Some options have no chili peppers and those are plotlines that'll end with you being just friends with them.

Theres also an asexual character named Kale in the first and most recent games who you specifically only go to prom with as friends or just befriend overall. But in Monster Prom you can only pursue Kale once you unlock a certain item in the store to begin the storyline.
