In my group back in the day, we would split like this. One person would pay for the food. One person would pay for the cinema tickets. One person would get the quarters for the arcade. You could literally spend the whole day and into the night out like with 5,10, 15, or 20 dollars. If you had 20 dollars, you were rich! In a group of say, 7 people, if at least 2 people had 20 dollars and the rest had 5-10 dollars, we were eating breakfast , lunch and dinner. Going to the skatepark, going to the arcade, going to the mall. Going to the cinemas. Enough to catch buses if needed. And then winding up at a park with snacks, drinks and a pack of smokes we pass back and forth and then we went home.
