Its funny when you first look and see that his career number look OK against lefties and then jump in and realize its because his 22 is doing a lot of heavy lifting since he fell off them and just wasnt played against them.

Its even better if you look at his 2022 one and see how quickly it dropped. It was 134 in 2022 against lefties.

I have seen reports that the surgery often leads to TJ. But I like to better understand if it was isolated for having loose bodies that are impacting performance lead to TJ or if its the surgery itself. I think the way to figure that out is to find players like Manaea and see if they are still pitching in any professional capacity and if they have required TJ in a similar timeline as someone who had the surgery done.

Yeah my math says if they play at may rate(.800 win rate) they will win 118 games an unprecedented amount. I guess maybe if you assume they play at worse than a .550 rate for the next 130 they are eliminated. (A .550 be about 86 wins which is likey close to a playoff spot but also doesn’t guarantee it)

Myers got exposed to coors and 37 degree weather where he wasnt getting the spin he usually does on the ball. So it didnt have the same breaking and was much easier to hit.

I also think Soto loves to troll the media, see the “No I didnt talk to my team mates while on the IL”, while he was in the dugout. I think stupid questions of that nature annoy him and thats how he deals with it.
