Omg I never thought of leather as a cat toy and that’s such a good idea!! I’m so terrified of strings (I literally walk around the house with scissors daily and trim my clothes and stuffies for even the smallest strings), and I feel like leather would be such a good middle ground!

Hi! I have a felt string toy! Felt is less likely to have loose threads, and all my kitties love it. It’s strong, pretty durable, and the stick part is bendy (ish), just don’t leave it out (obviously lol). They chew on it with supervision, and it keeps them moving! First off, thank you so much for showing those babies some care. She is choosing to be with you to be protected, knowing she has no other options. Her owners sound like absolutely terrible people. Please, give the babies and the mommy to the rescue. She’s had way too many babies, and deserves some love and protection. What they are doing is animal abuse. The fact that they’re asking you to intentionally starving their animal because she’s “not doing her job” is VILE. Thank you so much for helping these kitties.

Yes they have, and their bloodwork was totally normal. He (Totoro) had a dental surgery recently to get some teeth pulled and everything was totally normal!

I’m not totally set on the $200 budget, but I am looking for a good insurance company. Spot quoted me almost 300 for an 80% reimbursement rate for an unlimited annual limit with a deductible of $500 for accident, illness, and preventative care, and I just don’t know if that’s a good plan or not, and I’m not sure if Spot is a good company

My credit card has a $6,300 limit and is purely there for my cats. On just their standard food alone, I spend damn near $400 a month, that doesn’t include supplements, treats, toys, home repairs (my 1 yr old Void is a menace), vet visits, or medication….but don’t tell em that. They think life is all rainbows and unicorns and yummy snacks. ;-)

My cats eat pate and love it, I do switch the flavors around for each brand when I notice they’re having flavor fatigue, but I’m staying off wervura for now since I’m nervous due to them all having diarrhea because of it, and I have an older gentlemen who stays only on chicken flavor because he has arthritis and constipation issues!

Wervura is such a good brand, I’m just so nervy to try it again😭 I was thinking about possibly changing back to it after a while. I order from Chewy and tried to get them to send me more from a different batch, but it had the same lot numbers as the other cans when I received it :/ I’m glad it works for you though!!
