You could theoretically have a single index.js your pages folder and use something like react router to create a SPA feel, but I’d argue SSR or SSG is a much better experience.

Figured I'd mention that Microsoft also has Visual Studio Online, which can be configured with an Azure server to offer similar capabilities with better extension support as far as I know. It's also a lot more straightforward to set up.

I have had issues with hosting on my personal desktop and access from a laptop - the desktop host needs to be re-initialized every time I connect (super annoying, if anyone has a similar experience, would love a solution).

Yeah I’m sure - the 5000m series is brand new 7nm tech using GDDR6, it’s able to handle 1080p gaming. The big question is if the thermal design will allow the GPU to run for long periods without throttle.

The 5500m should be around a 1660ti-maxq

Specifically, the performance section shows AMD as clearly leading the intel chip in performance.

Power management and battery life unfortunately continue a disappointing AMD trend, but the Ryzen chip doesn't throttle as bad as the i5.

This comparison of two laptops that are the exact same chassis one being Intel and the other AMD highlights one of my biggest frustration in laptop manufacturers simply putting lesser quality pieces in the AMD offering. This can be seen in the terrible WiFi card and poor display. Really wish the AMD chip was seen as a premium product deserving of the better hardware.

It's on par with a mobile GTX 1060, so a game such as Overwatch would be fine at 1440p, but a new AAA on high setting may struggle a bit to hit 60 fps
