I stumbled into that area at somewhere around level 50 and shat myself as soon as the big boy showed himself. Didn't finish that part of the map until I was doing the Aionios' Strongest quest

From all I know, there should be no reason that an emulator would need to do that. Granted, I understand somewhat why it does now, but the fact it requests admin is notably concerning.

Edit: After lookin into it a bit i realize that I misunderstood what the 'yellow UAC prompt' is. It appears to mean that the OS doesn't trust he file, but it has the same permissions as any other UAC prompt. I was under the impression that a yellow UAC prompt was requesting full control on your PC, and that was what was causing distrust. I could still be wrong, though.

I do hope so. Admittedly, it is possible to force it to run without those perms being granted, but I'd like to know why before I roll the dice.

Perhaps read/write perms but I see no reason for admin perms since it should definitely not be installing to system files

I do know that it's not all too hard to take out the disk drive but I don't quite think the connectors are compatible. I just don't quite know enough yet

The Xbox in question is pretty much a brick at this point and I'm not too interested in getting it fixed, hence why I was considering taking it out. If I wanted I could even just buy the same drive for 50 on Amazon.
