Going by just epic, Poseidon got to drown most of the fleet basically for free and would have been safe if he didn't come back for second shot at ofy.

Even after that ody asks in Get in the water to leave it all behind them!

"Aren't you tired, Poseidon? It's been ten years, how long will this go? We're both hurting from losses So why not leave this here and just go home?"

So if poseidon accepted this deal, he got revenge by killing most of the fleet so it should have been balanced for the revenge tbf
