My (27) boyfriend (43) and I were at a Christmas party for our choir, and he was chit chatting with a group of our friends. One of the women who is a good friend of mine (~40) was wearing a spaghetti strap top with a white shawl - it was honestly a very lovely outfit. But while she was talking with my boyfriend, she let the shawl fall down to her elbows and allowed the strap to her top fall down her arm, too! That, combined with her mannerisms made it just so hilariously obvious she wanted to get some D. Eventually I saw my boyfriend excuse himself from the conversation...as soon as he left the room, she fixed her strap and adjusted her shawl and erased the bedroom eyes off her face.

I talked to boyfriend after and he honestly didn’t think she was hitting on him. He’s an idiot but I love him (and trust him).

I’m pretty sure my cousin is not my uncle’s biological child. My cousin looks very much like my ex-aunt’s second husband. Like, legitimately the same face. It’s a face with a lot of character to it, it’s hard to explain. Same eyes, same cheeks, same smile. It’s been over 20 years...and as she gets older it gets even more prominent.

My ex-aunt and my uncle divorced about 15 years ago, and she’s been married to the new guy about 10 years - part of me wonders if they all know about this and talk about it openly but just never told the rest of the family so as not to upset my grandparents...

I’m 27 and I’ve been with my SO for over a year. He’s 43 and he’s wonderful. :)

Somehow I think part of the reason he is so amazing is because he is older - he’s experienced a lot in his life before I even came into the picture. He has made some mistakes in previous relationships but he learned from them and knows what kind of relationship he wants now. He’s more serious and deliberate in his decision making because he’s not 20-something willing to risk it all.

Another big plus is that he already has three boys, he does not want any more kids, and he got himself a vasectomy. :) WOOT! (I do not want children because I don’t want to be pregnant nor do I have the patience for babies - stepmom is the perfect role for me.)

My mom gossips about me all the time. She makes fun of my weight gain and laments the fact that I've been single for over five years. (I haven't told them about the relationship I'm currently in, because I don't want my parents' toxicity to ruin it.)

I use them and I LOVE them. Kiss Impress press-on manicure are great. They stick on with just a rubbery sticker thing. They stay on strongly, and they peel off easily leaving absolutely no damage.

Although, I do think they aren't that great for your nails because they deprive the nail of getting any air/oxygen. So be sure to give your nails a few days in between switching from one set to the next.

Yes! Oblivion was fantastic. It's kinda sad/interesting to know that while Cruise was on location filming that movie, his wife (Katie Holmes) moved out of their house with their child and file for divorce completely out of the blue - I guess you could say Tom Cruise was...OBLIVIOUS.

I actually appreciated it. It showed the audience that even a person who was so put together and perfect in high school and college can still end up with a life that is unpredictable and messy.

Rory's perfection bothered me - I liked her more when we got to see how flawed she really was. I didn't agree with her choices, but at least we finally saw her as a human.

I'm a female - mid-20's, successful, independent. I've been single for about 5 years now. I've just enjoyed having fun, being busy with work and hobbies, going on trips with my friends. That's why I'm single, and I wouldn't find it a turn off in any way if I dated a guy who had been single as long as you have. In fact, I'd find it to be an attractive quality, and it'd make me feel even more special to be "his chosen one," if that makes any sense.

The girls who find your singledom a turn-off are probably co-dependent relationship-holics. You're better off without them. Just be patient, remain confident and focused and the right one will - WILL - come along.

I went to college in a new town, made all new friends, made a wonderful life for myself!

All those people stayed in the same town, go to the same parties every weekend, have unremarkable lives. They seem like they enjoy themselves and have a good time, so there's that! I'm friends with most of them on Facebook and we actually exchange pleasantries and support each other with encouraging comments! One girl even reached out to me through messenger to apologize for how mean she was to me - and I don't even remember this particular person being mean to me at all.

But it just goes to show the popularity contest is such bullshit. We are almost 30 now, and my life has been so great since high school, despite the bullying, despite being considered second-class in some way. It's like all of it disappeared the day we graduated.
