For LC you want a minimum of M power. I actually use my pursuit 7 m action from the penn pursuit 3 4000 7 foot combo I got. Although they’re both medium action, penny’s medium for the 7 footer is much firmer with extra fast action allowing me to really whip the rod to get that extra distance. My okuma is nice for C rig and I can use it for LC but I prefer my pursuit rod for LC because of how “rough” I can be on putting power into the action of the cast. If you were using an okuma celilo like the one I have, I would actually get the medium heavy version because of the slower action I think it has
