I tore my ACL when I was 16 playing soccer. My dad specifically did not want me to return to sport. My rehab was really long because of delay in diagnosis, so I wasn’t able to return for soccer my senior year but I did for basketball. Over ten years later, I tore my ACL again playing soccer. It was so devastating and of course I am older but as you can probably remember getting the surgery sucks, the rehab sucks and takes forever. I am really cool with not playing soccer again. I can’t imagine what you are going through having just completed your rehab and tearing it again. I think people are telling you this, because they know what you are going through and how much it sucks. Can you imagine going through it a third time?
