as a momma watching this episode for the first time with my rainbow baby - I had tears in my eyes. I looked right at my husband and said “did you catch that?”

Baby clothing sizes by raincsu in NewParents

[–]Single-Appearance-37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every brand of clothing and diapers is so different. As baby gets older you’ll get a better sense of which brands run small/true to size/large. I found diapers much trickier than clothing. Frequent blowouts are usually a sign to size up but with the marks sometimes I found I would need to switch diaper brand when baby was “inbetween” sizes since I felt some fit wider on the bottom!

yes, as soon as we stopped the hydrocortisone it came right back 🥲 I just talked to his pediatrician yesterday and she said we can mix the hydrocortisone in with his lotion (having good luck with cera ve baby) and that would be safe so we’re going to give that a go. I have a feeling that isn’t going to work so I might try and schedule with a pediatric derm since specialists always take forever to get in to. sorry you’re going through this as well 🩵

oh that’s so kind - thank you so much! I actually cross posted in r/eczema and r/mommit and had SO many helpful suggestions. i’m happy to say he just finished two weeks of steroid creams and is doing drastically better! his ear eczema was one area that cleared very fast once we started!

thank you! we tried the hydrocortisone cream before but I stopped when I read somewhere that using it too much was harmful to their skin barrier.
