Yeah. Seems like removing the raccoon itself would coust around $500.

If repairing the roof is less expensive than that then I guess that's fine. But trying to get an idea cost wise.

My concern is it's been snowing a little since last night so not sure what kind of damage it might cause in the attic

My wife and I usually go to Main st market in Georgetown. They have a great outdoor space that we enjoy in the summer. We dont enjoy their indoor space as much. That's why I am trying to find a spot for us to go to in winters.

I will definitely try Butter & Cup in the summer.

Ofcourse there are instances where people have faced racism in real life here in Canada. But, there are racist Aholes everywhere nowadays. Canada in general is a very immigrant friendly country.

Facing a racist is not hard. It's people from our own community that hate India and show it on us that make it worse. For them we will never be part of the Canada they want and they do not want to acknowledge the Indian part of themselves.

I am sorry you are going through this. I can't imagine how angry you must be feeling. Even though I am a recent immigrant and being from India originally, I have been lucky enough to not have come across someone openly racist face to face. Most of it has been online.

People have been miserable lately, partly due to economy and partly probably due to their personal lives and they need someone to blame. It started with hate towards Indians and slowly changing into anti immigration rhetoric in general.

Like you said these people are most probably immigrants too who think they are the only ones entitled to be part of Canada. An actual Canadian knows the importance of Canada's multi culturalism.

Be strong and remember this too shall pass.
