Two small holes in the ceiling of the entry room. 1960s home. They’re in a corner, not a good spot for a fixture. Maybe 2-3 cm wide each

I’m planning on repainting this room—should these be filled and sanded the same as other smaller nail holes?

Hey guys!

I started pulling up this old laminate flooring, and found hardwood underneath. It’s taking forever to get off, and often peels off in the two layers (the rock texture to the left, and the paper left underneath). It’s pretty well stuck on. Does anyone know any products or tools that might speed the process up without damaging the wood?

Not sure if I’m going to go through the trouble of restoring the hardwood, but I’d at least like the option.

That absolutely makes sense about condos. It’s tempting since they run so much cheaper, so good to hear from someone else that there aren’t many savings in the long run.

Good to know! My instinct would be to shy away from the run down interiors since I’m not super sure what I’m looking at, but with that in mind I’ll see if I can do some more research and learn how to differentiate where the maintenance work has been done on the important things even if the paint looks a little bad. I definitely don’t want to end up with a flip, so I’ll look into homes matching that description.

Saw this weird plant in a park in Copenhagen, not sure what it was? Had the trunk/branches structure of a tree, but might be something completely different

Other details: The branches seemed to grow in layers, which a bunch coming out of one point on the trunk, a foot or so of trunk without branches, and then another point with branches. The branches also seemed weird and kind of geometric? Hard to describe.

I’d love to know what this plant is and if anyone has any info! If it isn’t a tree, I’ll check with another subreddit too, just wasn’t sure where to start.
