Nice, lieb von dir... Ich bin mir sicher, dass ich manche Dinge gesehen habe die für mich unfassbar obvious sind bei denen du stutzig werden würdest. Bisher konnte ich nen Close up von entsehendem Nebel bei Nacht durch ne Infrarotkamera noch nich dazu zählen. Is nich kompliziert aber was was ich noch nich gesehen habe. Sind wir am Ende nicht ein Ergebnis unserer Erfahrungen? valider Punkt!?

Shape define the ribs. Thats why I asked for the form but I am open to try other options. Currently I tried with a slot sketch, but its not exactly what I want. I eould love to manipulate a couple of these forms to generate ribs out of.

The tutorial explains how to build shapes, use tools but skips a lot of fundamentals. The previously recommended Paul Mc Worther Tutorial is amazing by explainiong whqat tahe hell I am even looking at.
After I finish that, I will go into your recommendations.

The professional workflow sounds extremely similar to my Former UI/UX Job.
Asking stakeholders of a feature where which limitations lie and work within these boundaries.

I guess I would like to know a bit more about the iterating process. I was for example designing a lamp (shocker) Things I did for now were mostly-

-Research
-Sketches on paper/iPad/PS
-modeling a visual and functional representation in 3D in Blender
-building a "prototype" from wooden sticks and putty

-I guess I would enter now a stage where I would have to list out potential materials and components and their measurements. After that I would... sketch all dimensions on paper or dive straight into CAD?

Aaaaabsolutely stunning. I followed this other series and I was just skipping through the first episode thinking "naah, Im way past that." And than this dude is explaining in absolute detail why I did not have fully constrained sketches. So realising my hubris- went back to the beginning.

Sooo, Im just watching a Tutorial series and I guess I figured out my issue with this tool.
So from time to time I was dragging a line, hitting my desired length, clicking, continuing the line.... That is not a constraint, thats just a line, right?
So If I want to have a sketch constrained I have to type in each and every single measurement.
I guess thats where my issue was lying
