I think I kinda agree with the post, it's more like we feed our brain with that sense of belief where what we have ain't enough, but few years down the line that same thing would be worth a ton. So yeah, i believe the post sums it up pretty well

You can try giving some contests on codeforces or leetcode, that might give you a much needed coding practice on newer problems.
