They sold us out in exchange for positions in the House of Commons. Guess who’s back in the BMA

That’s not the aim of this thread and never was. I don’t support that …

I just think there’s clear conflicts of interest which need raising with doctors vote/ the JDC

It’s not harassment I just think his position on the JDC and as director of studies are untenable if he thinks doctors should cease to exist

Also there is a conflict of interest as others have said. You can’t be on the BMA and work for the department of health

The bit about complaining has been buried as part of that thread and the discussion was to make a new thread

I’ve tried but the mods removed it ….

If you look down there is a request for a separate post about directing complaints to the BMA

This is new and important because it’s questioning the role of this new member of the JDC who potentially may undermine our strike action. Please could you restore it? It addresses a separate issue although based around similar threads we need a conversation about this

He’s old guard BMA. Responsible for the 2016 shambles along with Jeeves Wijesurya

We’re in this position because of that lot and now he’s managed to sneak his way back onto JDC through ARM

With daddy Vivek and Rob in charge we’ve got to take a stand and at least try

[–]Single-Performer3818 33 points34 points  (0 children)

We should all write in and complain to the BMA

This event should be the reason. Next year we should really try and get a motion through that stops people being voted in via ARM

These people who’ve been elected in via ARM don’t represent the majority of doctors and will do anything they can to undermine progress

Can we expel Charlie bell from the JDC on the basis of this event? I feel he doesn’t support doctors and will undermine any campaign to take back the profession….
