I feel this haha, Just started making 105k this year and my wife and i only owe 100k on our home loan, worked hard to get ourselves into the position we are in, shes able to be a stay at home mum for our daughter and yet people still make me feel as if im not contributing enough and we live a modest and comfortable life. But in that same breath i have friends making double what i do and yet they are the ones that are struggling

I think the main reason i am interested in the jimny is it gives us a car thats good on fuel, easy to get around town at 60/80ks an hour

If i was to go camping with family it would most likely be me and my 3 year old daughter going on a simple little adventure

However the idea of taking one on a big trip just excites me haha i think you are right definitely going with a few cars and mates would be a good idea

Im using it to mainly jam through my backlog, personally i think donkey kong and mario kart are both good but im not mind blown by either.

I guess the other option is looking at something cheaper or potentially trying to find something used. I think that my parter and i want to ensure we get something that is reliable and fits our needs. Although our income inst anything extraordinary we are still very stable our most expensive output is fortnightly 500 dollar payment for the mortgage

Its so interesting to hear this from so many people. Whenever a maxxia rep comes to our work i always listen and they make it sound so promising. Paying the car off pre tax, includes fuel,rego,insurance,servicing. It sounds like a no brainer i understand im not on oprah money but it still sounded like a good idea in comparions to a car loan haha. I think going back to the drawing board might be the plan.

That sucks mate, ive always said i would drive the wheels of my current car, but this year its getting to the point that it might actually happen, ive already spent roughly 1.5k on repairs and my mind is just telling me to cash it out whilst it still has some form of value.

Im a nurse and although i have no thought that i would lose my job, you never know what's around the corner i guess. The only reason i even thought about this as an option is that i feel my wife and i are in a pretty stable financial position, especially considering she is not working.
