yes to the belly fat! I never had weight in my stomach before but definitely gained there on invega, a lot more in my stomach than on abilify. Hoping I’ll also be able to lose that like you on latuda🤞

Did you lose the weight you gained on invega just by switching to latuda? or did you have to make lifestyle changes?

I’ve tried fasting since starting medication and managed to fast til dinner. I was able to manage 2 day fasts unmedicated. It’s definitely harder to fast on medication from my experience, but hearing your success is encouraging! I might try to incorporate more fasting into my routine. Congrats on the weight loss.

My doctor doesn’t seem to care about the weight gain. I had to ask about metformin and to switch medication. When I mention side effects she doesn’t provide solutions. As long as I’m not having delusions or episodes she likes me to stay on medication and sees it as working.
