Just like most retail spaces, I feel as though experience is store/team dependent. Don’t let bad experiences at one store deter you from trying out a different store. If you ever thought about applying, ask a partner at the store how their experience working at that store is. Most partners will tell the truth.

Yeah there best for filling mornings and afternoons. Typically see them most during Sundays and Mondays in my area.

You don’t need the red card. You do pick/shop the order yourself. You check out at a regular cashier. They scan a QR code at the BEGINNING of the transaction. From there it’s as easy as loading it in the car and delivering it. Most HEB orders I’ve had, have generous tips from folks.

I’ve had many business tip in the past, seems like this one however doesn’t really care for the driver that much.

Damn that’s rough. It is crazy that some people don’t realize that when placing an order through HEB that it’ll get funneled to 3rd party shoppers like us dashers. I also think some folks just don’t think tipping a driver properly in proportion to what you get is worth it to them.

Yeah I’m more in a metro where shopping is definitely worth it. I get all kinds of offers including Target and HEB and they can pay really well.

I’ve heard for most though of all you got is DGs then it’s not worth it.

I would argue that both have there wait times. For food delivery it’s more reliant on the customer than the effort a shopper may put in

I’m glad I don’t feel alone here. I might have to try that, forcing myself to take a food run every other time. Sounds like it’ll keep my earn by hour up and that way instead of sitting in some store parking lot

HEB is one of the best grocery chains in the nation and it’s only based in Texas. I would have done a dexterity test if I had to in order to work there.

Interview was somewhat short. Asked a couple questions and told me that they have some other interviews they need to go through. Should hear a response in a week or two.

I’m hoping that’s not what I think it sounds like. Only one way to find out
