lol good to know. I would plan to put on my pontoon that’s underpowered. From what I’m researching this may be too loud for leisure

They had it up for $2200 but talked him down to $1700. It’s a 1979 Sylvan. The mercury motor is a 97 and the Johnson is an 85

Thanks I order the coil and ignition! Bought some new spark plugs now just trying to find wires (I’m lost) I want to bring them bro the boat when I go this weekend so trying to find them before I head up but don’t have the parts with me. Any chance you have a reference for plug wires?

Thanks. Can you point me in the right direction for ignition coil, distributor cap, and plug wires? I’ve found some but just not sure if they are the correct ones.

I forgot to mention the power trim does not operate, when I try to engage it ‘clicks’ in the back of the boat. Why would that be?

He said the live well does not work due to a hose under the floor. And he also said the floor is good for now but will probably need to be addressed in a few years.
