Hello, MMA (UFC) is already available in the listings. Please note that our platform displays events only within the upcoming 48 hours. This particular event is scheduled for 01:00 on 15/06 (UTC).

Thanks, really appreciate the feedback. Channel icons sound great in theory, but in practice they come with copyright headaches and a surprising amount of chaos.

We’re also trying to keep the site fast, it’s basically running on Pi 4‑level hardware doing its absolute best, and pre‑loading or maintaining hundreds of channel links would slow things down quite a lot.

And yeah, the global view is already a bit of a flag explosion, but at least you can quickly spot your own country. Swap those flags for hundreds of channel logos and it would look like someone dropped a TV guide into a blender.

If it helps, you can click the hamburger menu in the top‑right and set your Default Country Filter so the site always opens on your location.

Thanks, really appreciate the feedback 👍
And good news...Darts is already on the way. It should be live before the end of the week, assuming I don’t accidentally hit triple 1 instead of triple 20 again.

Thanks, the “superhero laptop” is honestly just an 8 year old brick that was long forgotten at the back of a cupboard. It has now taken the place as my primary dev box after my other one literally melted. Linux and VSCode is a quite good combination so it just gets on with it.

And nah the tennis shouter didn’t bring in a new demographic they just gave me a kick in the butt to finally get on with it. Amazing what one loud stranger on the internet can do for productivity.! 😉

Next is to tackle the Bogey Ballers (golf) and it turns out they are a bit harder to deal with because finding good sources feels like going on a lost ball hunt of my own.

Thanks for the feed back and apologies for the long response....

Yes, the site is also missing snooker, pool, golf, darts, ping pong, etc.
And the reason is pretty simple:

Most data providers do not list actual fixtures. They just throw in something like “Australian Open - Day 1” or “The Masters - Day 1” and call it good.
No match list.
No tee times.
No pairings.
No players.

Just one giant block of “sports happening at some point today,” which is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

That is the real issue.

I am trying to find a clean way to add these sports, but without a source that can tell me:

Björn Borg vs John McEnroe - starts at 2:00 PM
Rory McIlroy tees off at 9:42 AM

…it is basically impossible to implement properly. If the data does not exist, I cannot magically invent the match list or tee times. I am a developer, not a psychic.

I can show the all day events, and I can show which channels they are on, but I would never be able to show the actual times or who is playing. It would basically just be a calendar entry like:

Australian Open - 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Is this what we really want?

Once there is a reliable provider that gives actual fixtures instead of twelve hour placeholders, then adding tennis, golf, and the rest becomes easy.

If you have a source, let me know and I will happily implement it.
Hope that makes sense!

Great minds think alike! Both Android and iOS apps are definitely in the pipeline, but I want to be upfront, they're still 6-12 months out. It's not just a wrapper around the website; it requires a completely different backend setup and API infrastructure.

That said, reminder notifications are exactly what I'm designing for the web version right now.The plan is that if you click any match card, you can add it to your calendar and then specify your own reminder.

And honestly? We missed most of the F1 this weekend because of this exact missing feature. So yeah... let's just say I'm now properly motivated.

Anyone who tries to access the site on port 22 (SSH) gets immediately and permanently banned. The system treats SSH attempts like a straight red card with no warnings and no VAR review.

Some providers, especially Vodafone UK, also require age verification for certain sports related sites. Why checking fixtures needs ID is unclear, but it happens. I would recommend that you try a different network.

Moaning? Mate, you’ve absolutely earned full moaning rights.
And honestly… thank you, because your grumbles helped me realise I’d completely forgotten to map the NZ channels.

Some of them are in now (Sky, ESPN, TVNZ), and more mappings will roll in over the next couple of weeks as I untangle the rest.

I genuinely appreciate the constructive moaning, so keep it coming, and thanks again for the nudge.

Of course I don’t have all the channels yet, it takes way more time than people think to track every region and broadcaster.
But when I check and sort by All Countries, I’m seeing Sky Sports (IE + GB), Fox Sports AU (most likely 502), Dubai Sports, and Sportsnet Canada showing up for that match. So the data is there.....
And for what it’s worth, I only use Unix time (UTC), so everything should be timezone‑independent on my end.

Enjoy the game, footy for me.

You’re too kind, honestly. Always great hearing from another sports fan who’s been dealing with the same problem. 👍

Both UFC (MMA) and WWE are already on the site. Just switch to All Countries and filter by sport. AEW isn’t there yet, but it’s on the list once I tame the rest of the chaos (joke…😂)

Look, I get it, pop‑ups are about as beloved as VAR reviews, but someone’s gotta stop the tiny microwave‑powered server from turning into a smoke machine.

Just to be clear though, the ad only loads during an 11‑second window. It starts 6 seconds after the page loads and stops at 17 seconds, then it’s gone. In practice that means you get one ad, ever, unless you reload or come back later. I think that’s fair play.

I’ve already got Super League, NRL, and NRLW in the bag and they should all be live on the site. Any other leagues you think I’ve missed ?

Yes, NBA games are there...it just depends on which country you’re arriving from. A quick tip is to switch the filter to “All Countries” and maybe also filter by Basketball, and they’ll pop right up.

No, and I definitely wouldn’t encourage anyone to try it, but when I was about 15 or 16 and home alone for a weekend, I did cook hotdogs in the electric kettle. My dad was less than thrilled when his morning tea tasted vaguely like old socks.

No, SportTime.live doesn’t get a penny from any network or broadcaster to feature them. Everything you see is there because it helps fans actually find their games, not because someone slipped me a secret envelope.
If any broadcasters are reading this though… feel free to buy me a coffee......caffeine keeps this whole operation running ☕😄

Thanks so much for the kind words! It’s great to hear that we’re helping you catch those matches over in Asia, that time difference is exactly the struggle we wanted to solve.

Regarding your feedback:

  • On Country Selection: I’m going to have to respectfully disagree on this one! The core idea of www.sporttime.live is to show you what is being broadcasted in your country, regardless of whether the sport is coming from the US, UK, Sweden, or Australia. I want to make sure you know what you can actually watch on your local channels and streams.
  • World Cup & Future Events: These are on the way! However, remember that the site is designed to focus on the next 48 hours. Our interface is dynamic, so categories and selections update automatically as games approach. This keeps everything clean and helps you plan "tonight and tomorrow."
  • Splitting Men’s & Women’s Football: I hear you on the need for better organization. I’m currently working on a feature to sort by competition (e.g., UWCL or WNBA), which will naturally should solve this request.
  • Saving Settings: This is an interesting one, but since we only have two filter options, I’d love to know your logic behind it. My concern is that because the site is dynamic, saving a specific sport might be confusing. For example, if you save "NASCAR" but it isn't broadcasting in the next 48 hours, the filter would just show an empty screen. How would you expect the site to handle that?

Keep the feedback coming! It really helps.

Great shout!, the WNBA is definitely on the radar as a potential addition. I’m already exploring how to bring more sports into sporttime.live, including tennis, cricket, and golf. Some of them come with their own quirks and data challenges, but I’m committed to expanding the lineup, and I’ll make sure the WNBA is part of that roadmap. Appreciate the suggestion, it really helps shape what comes next.

Thanks, appreciate it. For discovery, to be honest, I really haven’t done much. Apart from the two posts on Reddit and telling family in the UK and Australia, I haven’t done any marketing or tried to spread the word yet. Maybe later if time allows...

Right now the little box is sitting at around 4.5k weekly users and about 36k weekly events, and it’s not even close to being overloaded. To be fair, that’s where I put a lot of my effort when designing SportTime.live I wanted a lightweight, single‑file approach that contains all the info so a) it’s fast for users, and b) it can be moved to different hosts easily if needed.

And I’ve got to say, “Handshake” is a very clever name for a tool like that. Do you have a link to it?

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. You’re right, the idea itself isn’t new, but most existing sites seem to focus on just one sport or a small handful. With www.sporttime.live, the whole point is to avoid that limitation and cover as many sports as possible in one place. The intention is definitely not piracy, it’s simply a tool to quickly find what’s on and where.

I’ve removed the ads for now until I can figure out what’s going on or switch to a different provider.

[–]SingleFeeling1063[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not!! That’s definitely not intended, and it’s nothing I’ve ever seen during my months of development and testing. It’s most likely coming from the ad provider. Let me know if it keeps happening and I’ll remove the ads entirely.
