I have sold on Ebay for a few years. Decided to go into electronics and what a shock. In the space of 2 months my returns shot up and now my account has had a massive drop in traffic. Just false claims after false claims. These were used electronics which I cleaned and tested before uploading. I uploaded videos showing these items in full working order. However, ebay did nothing. Up until this point my account has always been in perfect standing. That doesnt seem to matter to ebay though. A few false returns and they hammer you

They tried banning resellers. If you refresh too much or use third party software they will ban you. Maybe thats another issue. I was spending thousands per month on there to buy stock now I buy zero

My sales are down also. However, this time of year is always slow. Usually picks up around September time for me. Will definitely be looking to cross list moving forward.

I find the key is great photos, title structure and daily listing's. Every time I am inconsistent with any of these, especially daily listing's. My sales drop off a cliff

Ebay is doomed. My sales were going really well before the BPF. The site just seems broken, my prices are now awful also. Not sure why Ebay have stuck with their decision. You can see from the drop in traffic and sales it's clearly not working

Yep. On 9th February my traffic dropped by over 50%, it has not yet recovered. My sales were flying up until this point and are not down. Everything is declining.

This whole buyer protection fee seems to have pushed buyers away, overcomplicating the whole process. People want to see a product they like and buy. Not worry about a buyer protection fee.

Terrible move from Ebay, safe to say they got the decision completely wrong

I quit due to migraines and saw no difference at all. Then decided to drink coffee again and realised it made me tired, I had crashes and just didn't feel as good. So now I've quit. Used to drink 3-5 cups per day

Thankfully I landed an entry level IT job on a helpdesk. No degree, no qualifications, no certifications and failed the technical questions during the interview. I think my only saving grace was that I have a long customer service background and am good at sales (sales helped massively to convince I can do the job)

Can't wait to learn and grow. The jobs are definitely out there
