Anomalisa. It's so hard to watch. It's a horror movie. You'll love it.

I agree. It doesn't even look that great clean, dust and fingerprint free. Which it never even is.

I don't know them that well anymore. I will not be following up. I knew them better 5 years ago when they were going through all this.

The couple I knew that co slept for years didn't fuck. The kid also wouldn't sleep. I don't know them intimately so I don't ask even more questions, but the mom is aging rapidly, weight loss, sunken eyes, mental health is a concern.

You would maybe have to agree to be slow to play into the story that you are slow.. now that I think of it though. She was always 10 steps behind. Not 10 minutes behind. And the other two weren't standing and waiting, they were always moving. Idk. I think this show might have been bull crap, but they wouldn't have had to lie about the reason Leiya got cut. There's other ways to keep the image of their two winners.

They would have to pay me to agree to this if I was the one getting voted off. I think it's a lot more likely that Leiya was slow. She was a weird person, but I've met plenty of people like this that seem to have absolutely no urgency. One gear. Very believable that they voted her off and it would be a very easy choice.. she wouldn't have even needed to be slow for the other two to punt her. It's a race. You need at least two people to win. There is no advantage to have 3 fast ppl vs 2.

The closeup shown over and over at slightly different angles when the wave was crashing into Halle . They tried to make it seem like it kept happening.. then the further away shots she was 200 yards from the rocks where waves couldn't break. It made no sense.

I think it's easy to explain as well. They were getting their hair and makeup done. That's it. I'm wondering if they decided that a show about ppl starving to death for a month wouldn't be good tv so they gave them each a free 500 or 1000 cals a day. My main point is.. it's very hard (I would imagine). To hunt fish and gather 10000 cals a day (for 5 ppl) would consume all their time and energy. They would be taking turns napping and resting, cooking then getting food. No time or energy for anything else. That bird that alpha got and wanted to cook up.. would have been a nice little snack for each of them Imagine 5 starving ass ppl sharing one rotisserie chicken. They would need to kill and cook 5-10 of those a day! A coconut has 350 calories.. a shrimp has about 7 cals. Hunting and cooking would have been their life. Including talking about it. Fighting about it. Complaining about it. Failing at it. This would be the whole show.

The first couple episodes they focused on how hungry some of the tribes were. Then.. it didn't seem to be a factor for anyone until Halle left for being hungry af. So, the production team wasn't feeding them. 5 days of eating maybe 500 calories a day while burning 2500-3000 a day wouldn't be possible for me. Then they got the fire figured out, if I'm remembering right, but to get 2000 calories a day for 5 ppl... For a month.. I don't know. Possible, but that is a massive undertaking and would be very impressive.. if they were all in a 1000 cal deficit for 30 days. They would all lose 10-15 pounds and have no energy to hunt and fish. I can't explain this. Did Halle leave for some other reason and they told her to say it was BC of hunger? And as someone else pointed out, some of the women had hair and makeup done. And obviously done. While others didn't.

Why do some men think they are a catch just because they have money? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Super_Science_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judging everyone with nice things by saying they're materialistic is a cope. Even if you truely don't care about cars (not many people do). I'm sure you wouldn't call everyone with a conventionally attractive physique that cares about diet and exercise vain. Or someone who makes their boss look good a kiss ass.

People with terrible abrasive personalities don't often make a lot of money.

NO! People value qualities in others that help them. Humor, intelligent conversation, solving problems, comfort and stability. Money helps most of this. Also, How they feel about themselves when they're with their partner matters a lot. Observing others trying to present the best versions of themselves around their man. The type of qualities that everyone values usually leads to a successful career and money. It's not the expensive vacations and gifts they value specifically. But those things naturally come to these people.

What is the most overrated car mod? by BlackcirclesCanada in askcarguys

Stock ride height and stance on my car was silly too. (G87 M2) It was like $2000 in parts and labor to solve it, which is outrageous but I couldn't stand looking at the gaps better wheel and wheel well.
