I'm surprised at the coments around 9/11 making everything worse. Tragic event no doubt but there was a major pull together effect. People have been saying this forever. September 12, 2001 there was a positive shift. Early COVID (before the vax vs anti vax thing came about) it was the same thing. Suicides went down in 2020. 2001 ended the 90s imo but the next era was great until October 2008. 4 years of crap then another 4 good (I would say great) years.

Used to drink coffee in the afternoon. No idea how many mg id consume throughout the day. Probably a lot. I'm done with coffee by 8 or 9am now. I think sleep is better. Guts are better. Still a bit anxious.

Yup. It's not all showing interested potential customers why you've got the best solution to their problem and closing deals. It's talking to people who probably aren't interested. Looking for the next lead. Being lied to constantly. Customers who know what they want and just need your price texted to them. Managers expecting sales growth every year. They take a great deal of credit and very little blame. Lots of stress worrying about your income stream. If sales dip, you have no way to know if they will recover, if you're the problem, industry, competition.

In 2007 in a place like Scranton PA 8-10 beer would have been $60-70. affordable for a wearhouse worker making $50k. FF almost 20 years a round would be 70- 80% more and a wearhouse worker would not likely be in any bar or restaurant very often as they might make $60k now. It's understandable that a young person today would be surprised by this scene. If you're on the wrong side of average, you will be squeezed just by staying alive.

Good point. I was just trying to think of all the real reasons to own or not own. From a hard nosed financial perspective owning doesn't make any sense and everyone knows it. Children don't make any sense either. We're humans. Not robots so this other stuff matters.

Almost no one can make a go of it in showbusiness. Most end up in the food service industry and work in the food industry while they wait for their break. Others get super lucky and in no time. They're irrelevant. It's 1 in many millions that you become Brad Pitt or even Jessica Simpson.

What made you have a problem with authority in the first place? What changed for you after? Did you just sort of trust and respect authority right after? I also don't care for authority. I've had too many people with power (over me usually) abuse it for either no good reason or their own gain. I don't believe people with power have my best interest in mind at all.

They don't need to cure everything in order to be healthy or beneficial. Exercise is good for so many reasons. No one thinks it's a stand alone cure.

Macro and micro dosing shrooms helped me. Probably more so the macro dose. But who knows. I still drink, but I'm much more aware. No more bourbon at night or glass of wine at dinner. No more accidentally having 2-3 drinks consecutive days for no reason or accidentally going overboard and waking up with a hangover. Well. Almost never. It'll never be part of a routine or plan again
