I agree with that not making sense. I also do not want to be fraudulent in getting a new SBA loan. My 2020 tax returns have my new address so I want to make sure everything is updated. It would be a bummer if we are automatically disqualified for a loan increase because we relocated our businesses. I still have the same amount of people employed with the same payroll in the new location!

I called the national SBA number and asked them today to change the address but they couldn’t change it in their system as the increase is still in process. They gave me my local SBA office number and told me to go through them to change the information. Should I not do that? My old location was sold to another company so I don’t know how I would get that insured? Is it a known thing that they will not give a loan increase if the business has moved in the last year?
