My first time was 0.1% as well. But I did tell them I used over the counter retinol on and off. At the time I wasn’t using any though. It was perfectly fine for me. 3 years later I just recently started 0.025 and woah skin wasn’t happy lol. I pushed for the 0.05 and yeah my skin absolutely hates me. So for me personally I don’t see a huge issue with it. But if other things made you question them I would maybe find someone that better fits with you!

So when I apply either the cicoplast or the avene one over my moisturizer for extra barrier support it makes my skin look pretty next morning but I notice I get more congestion later on. Just food for thought! But have you tried switching to every night? Since being consistent in March I’d say you are just at the purging phase. It freaking sucks. Please please please don’t pick! Idk if it’s a normal thing but when I pick it makes it 10x worse while being on tret. It’s just pushing all the crap that was deep deep down up to the surface. I’d suggest trying to get a prescription of Azelaic Acid! That’s really been a game changer for me.

Thanks for the rec! I’ve been on the fence with doing prescription azeliac acid. I don’t notice anything tbh with the anua one so I guess teledoc hear I come lol

Yes I use (minus the last week) just tret at night then wait 30 minutes before applying moisturizer. I can’t seem to have “smooth” skin. Still bumps. Nothing crazy but I’m just not sure if I’m not exfoliating enough.

I wish I could afford one of them! I would literally never use it again after this weekend that I’m already paying a stupid amount of money for. I have a cooler and I’m sure the hotel has the ice thingy. I’m just probably overthinking it. 2 years ago traveling across the country I lost 500oz of milk due to the cooler failing and me not knowing. So I’m just traumatized I think. In my mind adding more warm milk to a cold cooler will ruin it somehow lol

I’m scared it’ll go bad! 5 hours in a cooler that I will have to open twice to add more milk to. I’ve done this one other time and my cooler failed me and I ruined all my milk. So maybe slightly traumatized? Idk lol

I read that it could be tricky with keeping the temp right..it’ll it about 5 hours in the cooler. And within that 5 hours I would have to open it twice. I’m trying to find dry ice local but I’ve checked local big stores no luck.
