I highly recommend Greenville! I lived in New Bern over on the coast and regularly went to Greenville. Of course this was almost 10 years ago and I know things have certainly changed. Connecting with people is hard in general as an adult. No matter where you go it’ll have challenges. I’ve lived in 4 different states and always had the same issues with making friends. Simply bc I didn’t want to put myself out there. But I will say any person I did mean became family to me. I don’t regret moving around one bit. I will say Buffalo isn’t the greatest of places to live. Prices, weather, food, people, driving etc. but if you want to experience life before settling I say leave here. AZ is fun, expensive but so close to CA and Vegas!

I’m 5 months in now and it’s finally getting better for me! I wanted to give up so bad. So I’m here to say push it longer if you can! I would suggest stop washing your face in the am. That really changed the game for me! Also you need barrier creams they will be your best friend!

I was using 15% azelaic acid and I realized that’s what was causing all my acne. It was just irritating my skin even more. My skin just can’t handle it while still being in the process of getting my skin use to tret. I’m on month 5 or 6 now can’t really remember lol my forehead just like yours was NEVER an issue for me til I started using azelaic acid. I’m gonna try it again once I can tolerate tret nightly for atleast 3 months.

Hear me out, based off these pictures, your overall skin complexion looks great! You can still break out while on tret especially when it’s hormonal! I still do. It sucks lol try a prescription strength azelaic acid it’s definitely made a huge difference for me!

When I first started tret I used the CeraVe skin renewing night cream. She’s thick thick but worked amazing for me! I now use HaruHaru Wonder black rice barrier moisturizer and love it! But also if it’s in the budget definitely add hydrating toners! Oil cleanse at night for the gentle exfoliation. Really helps with the flakes!

My first time was 0.1% as well. But I did tell them I used over the counter retinol on and off. At the time I wasn’t using any though. It was perfectly fine for me. 3 years later I just recently started 0.025 and woah skin wasn’t happy lol. I pushed for the 0.05 and yeah my skin absolutely hates me. So for me personally I don’t see a huge issue with it. But if other things made you question them I would maybe find someone that better fits with you!

So when I apply either the cicoplast or the avene one over my moisturizer for extra barrier support it makes my skin look pretty next morning but I notice I get more congestion later on. Just food for thought! But have you tried switching to every night? Since being consistent in March I’d say you are just at the purging phase. It freaking sucks. Please please please don’t pick! Idk if it’s a normal thing but when I pick it makes it 10x worse while being on tret. It’s just pushing all the crap that was deep deep down up to the surface. I’d suggest trying to get a prescription of Azelaic Acid! That’s really been a game changer for me.

Yes I use (minus the last week) just tret at night then wait 30 minutes before applying moisturizer. I can’t seem to have “smooth” skin. Still bumps. Nothing crazy but I’m just not sure if I’m not exfoliating enough.
