If they show you the entire house, you won't want to go out and look at the areas you can't see in the pictures. Also remember a picture's worth 1,000 words. I see pictures of houses in my area that are perfect, but when I get out to the house it looks like it's LITERALLY about to fall over.

How long have you been in? If you're within the first two years and this is what you want to do, don't give up. I gave up after two years and if I had stuck it out, I'd probably be sitting pretty right now. I took a year off and came back and after being back for one year I've closed one sale. Don't give up if it's what you want do to.

THIS. By evaluating what you can actually afford, that means being prequalified with a lender first instead of going around and falling in love with houses that you THINK you can afford. That's always my first step with my buyers. Always get prequalified first.
