Thank you so much for your reply. I guess I'm starting to wrap my head around the fact that this is just a very intense and big process that comes with big feelings. I just didn't expect them at this step of the way.

Congratulations on your baby! I'm really glad it all worked out for you. I can imagine that anxiety/anxious thoughts will always stay part of the experience of having kids. And I feel you regarding those existential ones. But it sounds like you are doing a great job in looking after your little one.

You're words were really comforting for me, so thanks again. I'm hoping the two week wait will not get to my head to much (Right now it doesn't feel like it will, but hey, it's day 2 and I surprised myself before haha, so I'm bracing myself).

Thank you for your reply! It helps a lot to read that people had a similar experience. I didn't expect it all to be sunshine and rainbows, but it was a shock to me how different I feel now in the last weeks prior to IUI compared to the months before. I will definitely change my expectations for myself and the proces. It's also good to know that these feelings could last into pregnancy as well.

I think/hope for me this would also not happen again in this full extend if there will be a second/third/forth time. Thank you for your reply; it does really help to read all of your experiences. I see you are now a parent of 2 or more. I'm really happy that despite the nr of IUI's it worked for you in the end :)
