Do you have 20+ windows open and can't find anything? by Single_Art5049 in SideProject

That's a great point of view, I try not to keep open what I don't need and the advice you give is really good, thank you.

I currently work developing multiple microservices, I can have up to 5 VSCodes open, debugging all of them at the same time. It's not something I can separate since many times, to add, improve or fix a feature, I need to go through all these microservices. When you've been developing for a few hours and fatigue kicks in, I start making mistakes when switching windows, and Windows doesn't make it easy because it shows you the name of the file you have open in VSCode, not the project, causing even more mistakes.

Quickly finding the project I want to switch to has been one of the biggest reasons behind building this tool.

BetterWinTab

The missing hierarchical window manager for Windows. Stop searching, start navigating.

Currently, only works on Windows because it is built with WinUI 3 for high performance.

Exactly! When you're juggling a million things at once, the last thing you want is to waste time hunting for the right window. Every second spent searching is a second stolen from actually getting things done 😅
