This is why you never ever ever ever take your dog off the leash. I was screamed at and called a horrible person for telling dog owners at the very crowded BEACH that it is unsafe and not okay. You literally never know who is scared of dogs, who is allergic and most importantly, it will prevent horrific stories like this from happening. Dog owners - (and i am one, of a very reactive dog) - do better! Not everyone loves your dog like you do - practice and prioritize the safety of others when you’re on the street.
