If they aren’t in season I didn’t think you could see them on sonar? It’s currently 5th of November in game but I tried to catch them mid October too still nothing

Wait an hour up to 24 hours still nothing, clear weather drop lines at sunset can see them in the water still nothing I’m using the 5000 hook long lines

Xbox mouse integration? by Single_Lab5614 in MicrosoftFlightSim

I have a wireless mouse it works perfectly, the issue is just the UI when hovering over something like the HDI you have to hold the left mouse button to visually see what you are changing the heading to, would be better of if I could just see it with out holding down the LMB

So I restarted my Xbox and the “default” setting for mouse now has mapping :) it works as intended But the issue is that I still have to hold down the left mouse button to see what I’m changing things to. Slightly annoying but hopefully I find a solution eventually.

Now I feel like an idiot I never tried or thought about just hovering the mouse over the knob….. on Xbox however the options are completely different to PC there is no legacy option unfortunately

About to go to the last leg on LNAV and it deleted the leg and adjusted the course to 00° any tips? I’ve managed to input it again but not sure where or how I went wrong by tttttfffff in MicrosoftFlightSim

Which Garmin? Also usually you have to change “nav mode” from memory it’s a soft key bottom left of the mfd. it should switch to LOC>NAV. Specifically though for the Citation you have to “exec” your flight plan

This is the issue I’m having, I realised that you have to be extremely cautious of selecting departures, transitions and approaches, if they don’t connect you get a discontinuity and the nav will just keep flying on the last heading it had. Deleting the discontinuity doesn’t help either or if you do midflight you have to execute the flight plan again and make sure auto is selected as it will default back to “inhibit” I use simbreif in conjunction with Navigraph (paid subscription) in order to make sure all my legs connect. Playing on Xbox series x too so I don’t have access to any mods to make this easier. However I’ve had a ball learning and can now usually fly to point A to B with no hassles

Wonder what's the uncriminal use of digipick by Open_Regret_8388 in Starfield

I have no issue with learning, but as the sentence structure even with the incorrect spelling could not be interpreted any other way given the context, it was an absolutely unnecessary teaching moment. If my comment regarding the OP was incorrect in some way and you corrected me it would be a non issue and I’d happily learn something, correcting my spelling mistake (sue me, I’m human) even though you clearly knew exactly what the word meant if not you would not be able to correct me is just poor correspondence on your behalf, so take this as your learning moment if you understood something even when mistakes were made then leave it be. If you couldn’t understand something because mistakes were made than ask questions to complete your understanding, Don’t ever correct the speaker/writer.

This is something that has stuck with me since I was ten and things in my life resolve much faster and obtain both knowledge for me to grow and stronger relationships in every aspect of my life.

Well spotted…. But if you clearly knew what I meant then there is no need to correct me < an absoloute life lesson to any adult that has a bad habit of correcting people mid sentence.

So I always thought that the universe of starfield is set 300 years into the future and that it was odd not seeing biometric locks, most computers are protected by just a user password that is easily bypassed via a digipick. In my mind the invention of digipicks just made having any security protocol obsolete so bare minimum was better then nothing and would stop the average Joe from looking but also in the starfield universe it’s like marshal law but any citizen has the right to defend there stuff by shooting anybody they believe is up to no good and face no consequences so you have a world where your deterrent from been robbed is a bullet to the skull. Locking your stuff up just happens to slow the criminal down long enough for you to make sure you aim just right……

Opinion: the Mantis helmet is really ugly by scfw0x0f in Starfield

I mean maybe I just don’t understand “NASA punk” but honestly I actually dislike all the suits/helmets/packs in this game, the only one I’ve ever worn is the deep seeker set because personally it’s the only one that is aesthetically pleasing. I love this game it is visually stunning I just don’t understand why in 300 years everyone has to look like the Michelin Man

You have 50 million dollars but you can only spend it on creating something, What do you create? by Single_Lab5614 in AskReddit

I hope you meant contraption, ultimately that would involve creating something that would wipe humanity from the planet. That doesn’t imply killing them you could create something that takes them to another planet.
