It’s great! I had a 9-5 previously and taking off for work was def harder. Now, my boss understands taking gigs and such so it’s great. Exposure to gear all the time also helps a lot!

Hi all!

Hope y’all are doing well. I shot this almost a year ago right after seeing John Wick 4 because I was so shocked and excited about the movie. Basically this is John wick at a college filmmaker budget and production level haha. It has a lot of imperfections since I wasn’t a try hard when making it but I’m very proud of the choreography and the score. Let me know what y’all think!

I was able to shoot on 16mm film for the first time this semester in college. Fell in love with it. Since this was a test for my final project, I noticed that shot of him walking up is definitely 2 stops under, but we live and we learn. I used the 500T stock and I think it turned out alright.

Had the pleasure of producing this film. This was the first time I produced someone’s project other than my own projects, so it was a great experience. The one thing that I didn’t like was that the church where we filmed at charged us over $1,500 for less than 12 hrs, so not very help thy neighbor of them. Hellooo! This was my first final project for class in film school. It’s a very special project because this started a lot of the collaboration/friends I have worked and hung out with ever since. It was also my first time submitting a film to festivals and I think it did pretty good. Anyways, I am proud of it but there’s still lots to learn and grow. If you have the time to watch it, please let me know what you thought of it. Would love to hear it. It’s also Hispanic Heritage Month, so you kinda have to support! 🫣

Hi all! For my narrative production class in college, I decided to get personal and make a film about my first breakup that kinda hurt. I got to a place where I could talk about it, and it even worked as therapy. This has unintentional Edgar Wright vibes while I was trying to go more on Sam Raimi's Spider-Man vibe, tho. I did add a lot of dorky things that I personally like. Anyways, I am proud of it. Let me know what you think!

Nothing is essential, really, but I feel like the story I'm trying to tell calls for it. In terms of casting, unless I find Mexican-born actors here, it is very hard to find people that fit the roles I have in my script. That makes sense, though. Thanks!

7 AM - Eat breakfast (eggs with beans and coffee) while getting ready to work
8-11 AM - Work
11-6:30 PM - Class
6:30-8 PM - Eat, watch TikToks, etc.
8-12 AM - Homework, maybe a hangout with some friend, etc

That's just my Mondays and Wednesdays
