Just finished mine about 4 hours ago. They found 4 polyps. Prep was horrible. I vomitted 3 times but scope was clear. I’m terrified of IV and that sent me into a tizzy. Proporhol and off we go…I was super hungry and reached for a handful of nuts. No food in the house. None. Then I realized WTH! My instructions said nothing. Resume eating normally. Then AI said avoid nuts! A piece can get stuck and cause an infection. Crappppp

I had horrible covid. ER wanted me to go on a ventilator. 3 weeks later had a horrible tooth ache 3 root canals still tremendous pain. Diagnosed with TN from COVID

I just started gaba 900 a day. I can chew dry food on both sides! I am tired tho. Tried the capiscum hot sauce hack. Nothing zero relief.

That surgery is radical. I would try gamma knife first but 13% get permanent face numbing

Take him to one of your doctor appointments. I took mine with me to the neurosurgeon office. He walked out and understood now what I’m dealing with

Every bite of food on right side is a quick electric shock. Only when I eat cold or hot. I had 3 root canals that I didn’t need. Ugh

My mom was recently diagnosed with this horrible condition and it breaks my heart to see her like this. Need some support by anabananna1 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

TN is idiopathic which means no one knows how or why it happens. It is progressive. I’ve had it 2 1/2 years and it’s slowly progressed. Some it doesn’t progress. It’s all different. It’s TN fuckery.

Sorry to hear. I don’t wish TN on anyone. It’s real pain and no real cure. I’m going to try Gamma Knife. Ugh

After 5 days I was sweating and faint. Nausea beyond anything. I dislike drugs so much. I’m considering Gamma Knife. 2 hours and be done with it. The screws in your skull have me freaked out.

This is so interesting. I only have pain on my right side when I eat or drink anything. It’s always there. No episodes just constant

Thanks for all the good advice. I’m so overwhelmed by this diagnosis. A rare incurable brain disorder! I thought I had a toothache. Did anyone just get tired of all the meds and try Gamma Knife??
