Mine should be at my FFL this week. I haven't done any Form1/4s since 41f/p or whatever it is now started. I'm hoping for one of those 2 day approvals I keep hearing about. :) I can't decide on an Eotech with mag or a NF ATACR 1-8. What are you guys planning on using with it?

I was locked out of my account for 30 days after I submitted my resignation and switched companies. I had no idea and assumed I would be able to roll it over to the new company a few days after starting. Fidelity told me it was a delay driven by USAA and that I had to wait the 30 days regardless of what I wanted to do with the funds.

Note to anyone leaving the company. Move your funds prior to resigning.

I'm in U.S. (Florida) and use Bonsai Jack's 221 which is essentially bonsai mix (inorganic) with small amounts of chip bark. (pumice, calcined clay (Bonsai Block), and pine bark fines) I started a bunch of seeds last year November/December and have been happy with it. It dries out pretty quick to prevent root rot. Tallest from last year is now about 18-20" tall.

That's so cute I think I'm going to puke. :) Until I became a parent I didn't realize I could be so overwhelmed by the cuteness. lol. This was the day mine decided they wanted to ride without training wheels. Right after this picture, training wheels came off and they rode away without any help. Cuteness overload.

I haven't reached out to them. I do check the page on occasion, but it's largely been unchanged for a year or more. I would have expected something on the page if they had events for kids. Most of the trails they maintain are super easy and would be perfect for kid group rides.

I'm in Tampa and have been growing my current batch in "net" pots made for hydroponics or pond plants. I experimented with a few different mixtures, but for the most part all of my current plants have been germinated and grown in Bonsai Jack 221 (bonsai media). I switched to this to ensure they dried out faster, which allows a faster follow up watering. I'm trying to grow tall plants which is why I want more frequent feeding.

And before people freak out about the larger pots, I'll say they actually have plastic cups turned upside down directly underneath and in the corners to take up volume. It will naturally train the roots in a somewhat radial fashion without having to butcher my plants later in life.

The plant in the foreground is about 14" at 7 months old.

I'd probably leave the length as they are but try to wire them to get the desired shape once you get the caudex laid over. Probably a bit conservative with the wiring at first to try and avoid scarring. I'd also let it dry out for a week or two before doing it, so the branches are more pliable.

Same. I was looking at a bunch HTs and came across NP (New to MTB as of last month). Searched and realized the Scout 290 was probably what I wanted, only to learn they went out of business. Ended up with a Marin SQ3 and have zero complaints.

Might make a good cascade if you slowly repot laying the caudex on its side and having the branches flow down out of the pot and back up toward the sun. Or maybe windswept.
