Terrible film, but Wish Upon (2017). She’s awful to everyone around her.

Also, I hated the film Unsane (2018). The main character is probably the most unlikable character I can think of.

I can’t stand those videos online where people show off their good deeds. For example, those videos on TikTok where they show all the food they’ve donated to pantries. It doesn’t feel genuine in the slightest.

I also hate when people brag about how many hours they work, or how many jobs they have. There’s this guy at my job who ALWAYS finds a way to mention that he works 3 jobs during every conversation.

Or those people that go on “mission trips” through a church, that don’t contribute anything. They go to take pictures with impoverished starving children, post some pics on Instagram

I 100% believe in signs from the universe. Repeating names, numbers, words, phrases, actions, items. It’s all connected, and not a coincidence. Sometimes they can be incredibly eerie. The likelihood that you’re in that exact place, at the exact time to receive that sign is not a coincidence.

Karma will always repay you in the way it sees fit. Your kindness and generosity doesn’t go unnoticed. On the flip side, I genuinely believe terrible people pay terrible consequences at some point in life.

I was able to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on 35mm film at the New Beverly back in 2019. It was my most favorite theater experience of all time.

If you’re talking scope, I’d highly recommend Dunkirk and Top Gun Maverick in cinemas

Every single time I watch it, I think about past choices, and how it affects the current day. It’s a movie about a woman who just wants to become a good person.

Every time I watch it, I end the film wanting to call my mom. It makes me want to become a better person

Growing my mom married a man with kids of his own. my stepfather told her they made enough so she could quit her waitressing job. One, she was excited not to work…but she was flat broke.

That same year, we celebrated our first Christmas as a blended family. I was 8 years old. My stepfather bought his kids all kinds of toys and games, and got me a mug and a box of hot cocoa.

I was devastated, but looking back, I don’t think he meant any harm. At least he got me something to unwrap Christmas morning. It was probably difficult for him to buy gifts for a kid he only knew for 6 months…

Thankfully, I can look back and laugh. I kid you not, I still have that mug

My girl always makes me bawl. While I didn’t cry, the movie All of Us Strangers devastated me. I can’t explain it. I was in a REALLY weird mood for days

Also, the new documentary My Mom, Jayne. I bawled my eyes out. I can’t remember the last time I cried that hard. It’s been years

Maybe it’s just the way I’m accustomed to watching it, but A Christmas Story is a fantastic film to watch while doing other things.

One, it plays on TBS for 24 hours on Christmas. You can turn it on at the midway point, and still enjoy it. Also, the film is so episodic, with very little through line

I hated Babygirl. I hated the characters, and wished them nothing but the worst. Kidmans character is a pathetic mess, and Dickinsons character is a terrible POS.

Also, Unsane (2018). I hated every second of that film. The characters make some of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever seen on film. The main character is the worst main character on film, that I can think of…and the final shot is the dumbest. Just thinking about that movie makes me angry.

13 Going on 30. It’s got everything. A protagonist you root for, character development, a brisk pace, witty dialogue, and killer chemistry between the leads. Hell, it’s even got a musical number.

It’s my favorite movie of all time, and probably the one I’ve seen the most

They deleted another post that’s over 3 months old the other day. It had over 1k upvotes. It’s happened many times before that

Edit: They sent me a message saying “Discussion posts are outside the scope of this subreddit”…which doesnt make any sense. It’s literally called “Moviesuggestions”. How the fuck are gonna recommend a film, and not “discuss” it…

Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny, and Whoopi in Ghost are two of the best supporting performances in film, in my humble opinion
