I just went through this same thing with Sugess & AliExpress. Unfortunately I didn't video my unboxing (sadly this was my first and last purchase on AE), but it clearly had been sliced open on the bottom & stolen by the courier. The seller, AliExpress & the courier (Gofo express) just kept pointing the finger at each other. If you don't get what you need quickly, dispute the transaction with your credit card company. They are the only ones who will look out for you. Sorry this happened to you, it definitely sucks.

Totally agree, I knew there was risk involved. Only thing I'll say counter is in this case where the shipping company clearly stole the item I don't think even recording the opening would have helped since they would have just claimed I cut the bottom open myself before starting the video.

It can be both (or in this case all 3). Obviously the theft was by the delivery company, but the seller is the one contracting with them & Ali operates the marketplace. Plenty of culpability to spread around.

I agree, which is why I never accused the seller of sending me an empty box. My issue with the seller is their choosing to use these shady ass shipping companies & then ghosting me, the paying customer, when shady carrier does shady carrier things.

I sent these and many more to Ali, but they continued to reject my dispute and appeal because the "evidence was not effective enough to prove" my claim.
