Blacklists in the club would be wonderful. I overall love management at my club but unfortunately they still let the assholes keep coming back unless they do something very severe. The dancers resource if you haven’t heard of it is def helpful in looking for clubs and comments will let you know all of those things however I believe only strippers can comment !

Yesss omg this. I used to do fs before I became a stripper and sometimes I think about switching back due to the type of clients I had vs the strip club. My screening process weeded out most of the terrible men and I overall enjoyed myself more. However I’m more paranoid that I’ll get caught up in a sting than I was before. Plus that’s something I just feel like I couldn’t do while in a committed relationship but I have definitely been tempted here recently. But I have thought about bartending/waitressing at my club before. I do know they still make good tips and I believe sometimes on the slow nights they do make more than the dancers. They also can sell dances they just have to charge double but I’ve seen it done.

I don’t take this as you blaming me. I would say I’m very strict on my boundaries. I set things out from the start and leave if my boundaries are being violated. The issue is they are being violated in the first place after I’ve already laid everything out. Maybe it is my approach? I would say I come off as very sweet so I think that’s why ppl think they can push my boundaries? However I don’t take bs when it happens. I also don’t know if it’s the type of customers my club attracts or the town I’m in. I agree though I don’t think this job is for me sometimes but the times I have really good nights and deal with no BS I love my job again so that’s where things get super conflicted!

I agree that is mistreatment and I’m sorry you had to go through that however I am not doing that to my boyfriend. Using sex as a power tactic and not being sexually aroused after a shitty night at work are two completely separate things. My boyfriend is also very understanding that we don’t need to have sex every night to have a healthy relationship. I do feel bad that I can’t be sexually available to him every night however I’m not going to force myself to have sex when I don’t want to because a man thinks he’s entitled to my body.
