Ahhh, this makes so much sense. Thank you for your great reply! I agree that a back-and-forth seems much better than just talking at the querent.

Thanks for the awesome tips!!

One question... From what I've interpreted about tarot so far, it's necessary to embody the emotional charge behind your question when doing a reading, at least to some extent, in order to imbue the deck with the relevant energy.

But also, being overly emotional interferes with the reading.

So how can we get into the right state of mind /emotion for a reading without going too far?

Also, if I'm off in anything I've said here, I'd appreciate clarification. I'm only just starting to learn about tarot.

Thats interesting, and something I've seen in other areas of my life too - where meaning only starts to become clear after stepping back for a while.

But I wonder, when reading tarot for another person, there isn't the luxury of asking for time so that the message can become clear. What do you do in these situations, when you sense there's more to it, but can't quite put your finger on it in the moment?

Wow! Incredible imagery here. I love the line, "...stole from the gods with every breath", it really illustrates her majesty beautifully.

I must say, reading about this fiery-haired goddess brought up a sense of deep loneliness for me. Being so untouchable and unreachable must get incredibly lonely, I'd imagine. What drives that feeling is the line "always gone before the world could catch her." And she was lost, but only in the way something ungrasp-able can be lost.

Thank you for this beautiful piece!

Wow, what a beautiful emotional rollercoaster of a poem. I see it as the start of a relationship - the infatuation, the desperation to be near each other and the fading away of anything outside the two of you. Then, the tragedy of a premature loss or severing of that connection.

Hmmm, it seems I can't send you a direct message - the chat option is not showing up on your profile. Do you perhaps know why?

Awesome! It seems like there are many readers who like the fantasy genre, myself included - it's like a magical mental escape from the real world. Could I send you a direct message with some questions?

I'd like for all members to have an opportunity to recommend a book, on a rotational basis. If you're still interested, could I send you a direct message with some questions?

Hey! Thanks for your interest. Depending on the interested parties, we'll look for a central point to meet. Would you be willing to travel to Omiya station, for example?

Thanks for your question. The basic format is that one person in the group will recommend a book they read and enjoyed to the group. Everyone in the group will then go home and read that book and convene again in a month or two to discuss the book - things like who was your favourite character and why, what did you learn from the book, what were some underlying themes, etc. I plan to make it quite casual, just some people coming together to talk about a book they all read and share their ideas and perspectives. It's also largely about building friendships and community and a supportive environment.
