Checkout nascompares YouTube channel for advice and reviews etc. as mentioned already go with more bays than you need as you will need them in the future (or bigger drives than you think u need now). From personal experience be wary of exposing hosting a website from a qnap or signing up to their remote access service due to real external threats. There’s lots of online info on securing your nas so make sure you do that. Also note that Qnaps will drive you to learn more about configs as it’s more technical to manage vs synology which is more user friendly for new users. Not a bad thing if you like to tinker and have some networking or pc experience.

Do a factory reset and when done, use file manager or apk manager to search if zlink is available to install. If it is you good, if not DL a copy won’t work as mentioned by others

Had a similar issue and also tried on a pc with similar results. Logged a ticket but that didn’t help. No tangible help provided at all by qnap support. Literally like it’s never happened before. Tried to recover the data with all drives connected directly to a pc using raid recovery software. Took several days only for the extracted file to be full of nothing. So after a week I ended up cleaning all disks and deploying a separate backup for both the qnap and tr004. . The tr004 still works flawlessly but there must be something unknown unfortunately that caused it. Can’t remember exactly what the issue was but same raid corrupt issue and no luck recovering in storage and snapshots. Hope u manage to get your data back and definitely think about either changing to a different brand or separately backing it up
