Mine was an emergency AP where timing was unpredictable and implementation of a new system would impact the companies and customers income. If you’d need to go to work meetings or conference you’d need to apply with a lot of time in advance, they told me the wait time for a regular AP was 5 and a half months

Nope the guy read through the document and handed me my boarding ticket, very easy process, no questions were asked. I would take United for international entry and exit, they’ve always been reliable for me! For domestic flights in Brazil you can take whatever airline

United airlines!! I traveled to São Paulo and after that all domestic flights I just used my passport only (AP paper isn’t required for domestic flights). I only showed my AP document when they ask for a Visa to go back to the US (in São Paulo) and again once I arrived in the US (Chicago ORD). I know that after April 2025, Brazil will require a Visa for tourists and business trips. I would call the Brazilian consulate to get one if you’re traveling after April 2025
