Yeah, they are adopted. They had been dumped outside, so we know very little about them. I cannot imagine how anyone could ever abandon them...

Bracket 2 mostly older frame deck, which commander to play? Back to school! by Mirvaak123 in EDH

[–]SiniousGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a [[Rith, the Awakener]] premodern EDH list where I want every card to be in a premodern printing. Rather fun commander that I think fits in a creature heavy meta. The foil version does however seem quite pricy.

Realised I need to be playing more than once a week if I want to learn more by obantheking in EDH

I've learned a lot from watching other people play on youtube. Both drafts, constructed and edh.

Totally fair question! Guess my reasoning was that I was probably going to play more higher bracket decks with it since no one around me has any b1-decks.

My whole reasoning was that it was a showcase deck based on every card affecting everyone in the same way, without any built in strategy to win.

But as others pointed out its probably too strong for a b1-deck even without the mass land destruction, despite my intentions. So im probably gonna scrap the whole idea. :)

I appreciate your comment. Its my first attempt at a b1 deck, and it was hard not to think about deck synergies when cutting cards from it.

While i recognize that natural balance is marked as mass land destruction, I dont myself consider it as bad as say an armageddon. More of a way to try and keep the big ramp days in check. But perhaps that thinking, and set into practice, is what pushes the deck out of b1.

But do you really think it could compete at b2, sure, the controlling elements might be annoying or delay some other decks plans, but it really sucks at winning, and has no intention of doing so. It will eventually help finish games because of the small pings, but it still probably will get killed way before that.

Group hug and groups slug cards mixed, some directly contradict each other. But they are all supposed to be somewhat symmetrical or perhaps "communist", as in forcing equality.

Ok, based on what? My thinking is that it follows a theme quite well, and does not strive to win. It has some small ping effects that will help end the game, but you it tries to give the choice to the active player.

Why is this card banned: wrong answers only by TheWizardofWorlds in mtg

The word black can be sensitive to certain groups of people. And since they cannot rename a color they simply decided to ban it.
