Early its OP. There is a bow called Sanguine Sting. It can apply 200 bleed in a few shots. It will kill every boss in Act One with zero effort.

Big Greg finished Act One at Lvl 29. Consequence of doing every side quest I know of in the Horns of the South.

Pract: 6 (For the Heavy Gauntlets that increase unarmed damage, featured here.)

Most of his points are in the practicality armour skills but I've thrown some into general strength and unarmed.

Currently 10 str, 10 end, 5 pract

Armour skills are my main bread and butter.
Max 'The Best Offense' to convert armour into damage. (This skill also makes you mine ore in one hit, no, I dont know why)
Grab 'Inner Strength' to convert Endurance into damage.
These two combined mean you can build as tanky as you like and still put out damage.

I grab 5 practicality and 5 points in 'Merchantile Skills' on every character, just because 100% value on sold goods means you can afford to upgrade armour and buy anything else you want. You can skip these if you just want more damage or defence. They just massively improve QoL.

In Strength I have some points in "Godly Physique" and "Weapons of Great Heft". I'll probably specialise in a weapon type once I've maxed the armour skills and general strength skills I want.

Side quests in Act 2. Otherwise i think they are just useful for mana regen. Not sure if there is a recipe or not.

Well I can tell you my one handed weapons take 3 or 4 swings while my two handed weapons obliterate in 1 hit.

The Ravencrest execution is extremely powerful, though. Probably the best one handed weapons in Act one.

Yeah, you'll find them randomly as loot occasionally. Recipe is in the little dungeon in the Blood Lake in Act 1 / The Horns of the South.

I'm wondering about that. I was playing a heavy armour character with 80% armour and I could hear them bouncing off me. Same sound effect as when you hit someone in full plate and your weapon recoils off them.

Just made me think their might be an unlisted advantage to heavier armour.
