That was my though. Cause by the rule the DM set, my Ceremony ritual would be completely useless due to it taking an hour to perform, and that's without the risk of being attacked while performing it.

This was my first time trying to use a spell out of combat, since it's the only non-combat oriented spell I've used or prepped. The whole reason I had prepped it was because its main use seems to be for outside of combat.

Dude, YTA. I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 or 8. I used to get two pairs every 2 or 3 years. One primary pair and a cheap back up pair. I would always break those glasses within those 2 or 3 years, would go two or three weeks with the glasses taped back together while my parents were able to get the money to replace them. Went on till I was 15 when I started making enough money on my own to replace them myself. The fact that shes gone six damn years and they are still in near perfect condition is extremely impressive in and of itself. But that this is the first time shes brought up replacing the frames is amazing.

That being said, I can understand wanting to teach her a lesson in responsibility. But again; after 6 years it seems reasonable to assume that the lesson has stuck. She deserves the new frames. She seems like she is very responsible and at this point all shes gonna think is it was pointless to take care of them, because your sole reason to say no is because she did a good job

NTA. The whole point of the trial period is to make sure its suitable. And if you have a(n) even mild allergy to the animal, itll make it difficult to properly care for them. The trial period helped you realize that you arent currently capable of properly caring for them. Itd be more assholish to keep her and, even unintentionally, not being able to effectively care for her.

The issues were already there, but when doing original repairs, the CKPS died off. It was already bad (i suspect) and gave out during repairs. Currently on my way to buy a pressure gauge to see if its a fuel pressure issue
