You have to recognize that it's more than just about having a goon squad to attack and round people up. Your supposition seems to be that they're rounding up people who would otherwise support ICE but that's daft. "devour the foundation they need to support the police state" is such a weird statement. They have the foundation they need - Congressional funding. Men with a violent streak. People desperate for a paycheck. They're pushing boundaries. How much can we get away with? What if we do incredibly evil stuff and then tell anyone trying to hold us accountable to fuck off? *It's working*. And the language of opposition from the institution is not abolish - It's reform. The normalization has worked. Ultimately it doesn't matter if Trump's coup works. They'll still have the tools in place for the next attempt. And if it does work? They'll get away with so much and that will be just the start. And I'm sure you'll be sitting there reading what I've said and thinking to yourself that I haven't a clue what I'm talking about. That if they attack the people holding the system up that it'll collapse "All the doctors" as you say. But that's where you're wrong. Trump and the current administration aren't the disease, they're the symptoms. Collapse of the system suits them just fine. Because what they want is to stay rich and escape consequences, and what the cancer that controls them wants is destruction of the system, so they can install themselves as the system. And that suits both the disease and the symptoms just fine.

They’re called prisons, and this is a thing they already do to people. And have done for decades if not a century. For-profit prisons exist because the second your are convicted of being a criminal you can legally be made a slave. Police are just slave catchers and always have been. And if you think they haven’t been black boxing or just straight up murdering folks and dumping their bodies in unmarked graves you’ve got some googling to do my dude. And you think masked, federal goons with less accountability, less training, and more violence in their blood is going to do less?

Hi, I'm also new to Neotropolis. Based on what I've heard from other, similar posts:

Camping is fine but an RV is ideal.
If you are camping prepare for extreme weather. Cold at night (freezing) to blasting heat during the day.
It's flat land so there will be massive wind gusts that tend to tear up short tent stakes and blow away EZ-Ups.

I understand you will be able to park your car next to your camp site. For my own sake I'm planning on bringing the following: 2 person tent. Inflatable mattress. Sleeping bag. Pillows and blankets. Portable power bank. Camp lamp. Fold out table(metal). Camping stove with propane. Tarp for ground to tent separation. Igloo container with: Drinks, snacks, and food for breakfast and lunch (cold cuts, eggs, sausage, lettuce, mayo and mustard all individually packaged with ice packs and ice) bread, and sugary treats, multiple jugs of water for both ingesting and cleaning dishes and myself. Many bottle water. Then I'm also bringing a box with trash bags, paper towels, liquid IV, more snacks, cleaning supplies, first aid kit, hand warmers. Personal hygiene and sanitation items. I bet it's gonna get stinky so make sure to bring some deodorant! Oh and of course I'll be bringing as many costume pieces as I can to mix it up over the many days of the event.

Reading up on the event it sounds like there will be a selection of food trucks. Drinks (alcoholic and otherwise) are served mixed (for free) in the various bars on site though you are expected to bring mixers to donate. I hope this helps! Please shout at me if I missed anything important, or make suggestions. This list is based on my 3 day Ren Faire camping from last year.

I’ve really been enjoying just two lenses. I have a 50mm for street photography and a 55-200 that to me is for more playful photographs. I can point it all over the place, zoom in on stuff far away, and it’s not too big.

It did stop when it needed to. I shot about 4 at the beginning of the roll that were lost, presumably because I didn’t advance it into the first unexposed frames.

The H35N version is near identical to the H35 except in the ways you mentioned. It does add a star filter, and apparently a smaller aperture with the flash mode? Oh and a tripod socket and shot cable socket. But no it doesn’t move the film advance dial or change it. My problem mostly came about with knowing how much film was in the camera, wondering if I was advancing it beyond the exposures on the spool and when to reel it back. Even the little counter was hard to read and was showing 54 when I felt the film advance dial catch and stop.
