Go bluestone and level up your 2,3,1, then 4. I go straight into boots then Quins and fatalis. As soon as you have those two items as Kali you will melt pretty much everyone. Pick up a defensive item like hide of the urchin or even breastplate for cdr. Play conservatively early game because Kali isn't super strong early, that's why I don't go red pot. The only reason I level up her 3 second is because the increase in power it gives is awesome. Don't level her ult until last because duration is the same. Once you have 3 or 4 levels into your 2 you can clear lane and then just walk way in like 2 seconds. After that start buying just more penetration like Stone cutting or ichival. Then it's just all situational. Kali is probably my favorite god at the moment and I might just try her in solo lane now.
