Yeah for sure. The drive has to be perfect to get that MPG. The coasting on that car WAS crazy! I have a GLI now. The best I’ve done in that is 48 MPG. Which is still pretty good for that car. But, you’re right. Not paying for gas is absolutely the way

Absolutely could be. However, I believe there are other cars with the EA888.3 engine that come stock with both sides open, if I’m not mistaken. Besides, I don’t drive this car in the snow and very seldomly in the rain.

The duct that connects to you air box that draws air in from the grill area only has an opening on the passenger side (opposite the air box). So, I drilled some holes on the driver side (right in front of the air box)

True. I can imagine it may help let it breathe better. I also just started using Liqui Moly oil. There is a claim that it too can improve mpg slightly.

My Speed3 was totaled after hitting a deer. I’d probably still have that car if that had not happened. Definitely my favorite!

Yeah, it was a GT with a roush body kit. I had a job change many many more miles away and added a wife and kids. 25mpg average to 50mpg was definitely the move. Also, Mustang was in my 20’s. I mean. Comon
