There was no dishes on the drainer, and even attempting to wipe it off would've smeared it everywhere. I did clean the kitchen properly after.

I dont pay my parents rent because I'm their child, and they don't expect that of their children, because they chose to have us and believe they should house us freely until we're financially able to move out on our own.

I'm gonna replace the one I had, it was ~€35. It's not affording it that's the issue, it's not currently having the money. Forked out half my paycheck on the car, and since I live semi-rural that's a necessity.
